Community Outreach
In November 2007, CLWA launched a comprehensive public relations and outreach effort to keep local residents and businesses aware of the Perchlorate Pipeline Project and construction.
To date we have:
- Surveyed businesses in the project area to collect contact information for future communications
- Developed a bike trail signage program and bike trail maps showing accessibility during construction
- Established a Hotline
- Distributed our first newsletter, Pipeline Update, in November 2007 to our customers and other key community stakeholders
- Produced and posted the first of many Construction Notices regarding a temporary closure of a bike trail
Your Input is Important
As the Pipeline project moves forward, we invite you to contact us for more information or to give us feedback on how we are doing with the project. Your comments will be recorded and responded to within 24 hours or less by one of our project management or outreach staff. We will also have outreach staff in the field to address concerns or questions from the public in addition to the Project Hotline and Construction Notices posted on our website.
Receive Pipeline Project Information Via Email!
If you desire to receive information emailed to you such as the Pipeline Update, meeting or construction notices and project maps, send your e-mail address to mail@clwa.org and ask to have the Pipeline Project information sent via e-mail.
