Frequently Asked Questions

1.

Can I participate on more than one team?
No. You may only participate on one team and all members must be from the same school. If someone drops out of a two member team, the team is then disqualified. There must be at least two members on a team.

2.

Is it mandatory that I attend field trips?
No. However, field trips will provide background information that will be helpful to you and your project.

3.

If I finish early may I turn my project in?
No. You are responsible for the care and keep of your project until the turn in period of March 31, 2009 through April 1, 2009.

4.

Do I have to document my project's progression?
Yes. This is part of your action plan and scoring criteria.

5.

Do I have to check-in on the web-site?
Yes. A mandatory check-in on a bi-weekly basis by any team member until your project is complete is required.

6.

Do I have to have an advisor?
Yes. You must have a teacher advisor from your school.

7.

What should I do if one of my team members drops out?
If a team member drops out, your teacher advisor and the team member must inform the CLWA Education Department via e-mail. If someone drops out of a 2 member team, the team is then disqualified. There must be at least 2 members on a team.
