Welcome to the Water Challenge!

This is a Service Learning Scholarship to be used by the participants for continuing education after high school.

Water is a dynamic topic in the Santa Clarita Valley, and is important in all facets of our lives. The Water Challenge is a service learning scholarship program that will provide an opportunity to compete for all Santa Clarita Valley High School students in grades 9-12.

Service Learning

  • Helps students apply their research to real life situations.
  • Provides an opportunity to address ethical and social issues associated with the Santa Clarita
    Valley.

By designing and implementing a water related project, students who participate in the Water
Challenge will educate themselves and benefit their community.

Scholarships will be awarded to the top winning projects. The scholarship will be equally distributed
amongst team members.

  • First Place -      $7,000
  • Second Place - $4,000
  • Third Place -     $3,000
