Professional and Community Activities:
Keith Abercrombie, General Manager of Valencia Water Company (Valencia), has been employed by Valencia since 1996. Valencia serves about 30,000 customers in the Santa Clarita Valley and operates as a public water utility regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Castaic Lake Water Agency, a supplier of imported water from the State Water Project and other sources to the Santa Clarita Valley.
Mr. Abercrombie holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from Colorado State University and a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University. He is a Grade 5 Water Distribution Operator, a Grade 2 Water Treatment Operator and is a member of the American Water Works Association. He is a past President of the Castaic Lions Club and past Board Member of The Friends of Mentryville. He is active in his church and serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America.
