Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP)

• 2010 Urban Water Management Plan

  The Board of Directors of the Castaic Lake Water Agency and Newhall County Water District approved the 2010 SCV Urban Water Management Plan at their joint hearing on June 22, 2011.

  The Santa Clarita Valley water suppliers, Castaic Lake Water Agency, CLWA Santa Clarita Water Division, Newhall County Water District and Valencia Water Company have been working in collaboration with the community and local planning agency’s over the last 13 months to develop the 2010 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMPUrban Water Management Plan. State law requires that every urban water supplier of a certain size prepare and adopt a water management plan every five years.).

  Five community workshops and three public hearings were held to provide information to the public and to receive public input. Workshop and hearing presentations as well as the final draft document are available below.
